• On Saturday, the Tigers tied with Hill-Murray for first place at the St. Cloud Apollo Invite, with both teams culling 36 points in the individual format. Buffalo (27) and the host Eagles (22) were next in the seven-team tourney. This was Princeton’s second-straight invite title this season.

Winning their brackets at Apollo were Mayerchak at No. 1 singles and Schepper at No. 4 singles. Placing second were Bri and Kelsey Dorr at Nos. 2 & 3 Singles, along with the double duos of Doyle and Trunk, Johnson and Maus, the rotation of Stark and Farley and Gabby Dahlen and Krysta Maus.

“Our success has been coming from our depth as a team and the versatility of our players,” commented Tiger Coach Kelly Dorr. “The girls are getting opportunities in different positions. With them having success, it allows us to try them in different positions. This will help us as our team grows and develops.”

• On Sept. 10, Rogers gots past the Tigers 4-3.
