Alexandra Yurecko

Yurecko, Alexandra (Stamson) 47, born May 20, 1966 in Montevideo, MN, died October 3, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. With her husband by her side and surrounded by her children, family and friends, Alex passed peacefully at her home in Princeton, Minnesota. United in marriage to her husband, Todd Yurecko, since September 13, 1997, they shared a love and passion for racing and classic cars, attending car shows statewide with her own 51 “pink (Pepto) Betty Boop” merc. Alex was a member of Gopher State Chevys and MSRA Car clubs. Alex was a devoted wife, mother and friend. A vivacious woman who engaged all whose lives she touched. She will be missed by many. She joins in heaven her grandmothers, Ann Stevens and Judy Stevens and grandparents, George and Edna Stamson. Alex is an angel watching over those she is survived by her husband, Todd, and children, Madelyn (14), Connor (12) and Marina (8); her parents, Sharon and John Stamson and her brothers, Anthony (Carol) and Zachery (Autumn); and grandfather, Allard Stevens as well as a loving aunts, uncles and cousins and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
