M. Kathryn Davidson

M. Kathryn Davidson, age 88 of Princeton, died Wednesday Oct. 15, 2013 at Fairview Northland Hospital in Princeton.
Kathryn was born May 6, 1925 in Algood, Tenn. to William Marshall and Bertha (Lane) Stockton. She married Clayton Johnson on Nov. 5, 1942 in North Carolina. He died in May of 1981. She married Gerald Davidson on March 13, 1982 in Princeton. Kathryn worked at Fingerhut in Princeton for 18 years and later for Federal Cartridge in Anoka until her retirement in April of 1987. She is a member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Princeton.
Kathryn enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a wonderful hostess to her guests and family. She especially loved having and hosting family dinners. She was an excellent seamstress in her early years. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jerry and Kathy loved spending time up at the cabin on Leech Lake with their children. They also enjoyed their time in the winters spent in Florida.
Survivors include her husband Gerald of Princeton; daughters, Kathryn Ramona (Keith) Carpenter of Foreston; Joy June (Rod) Rousselow of Hillsboro, Mo.; son-in-law Larry Dugan of Princeton; grandchildren Julie (Shane) Hansen, Shawn (Jamie Lynn) Rousselow, Jamie Rousselow, and great grandchildren Hunter, Autumn, Paige, Austin, and Blake. She is also survived by sister-in-law Jo Stockton of Kannapolis, N.C. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, daughter Cheryl Lana Dugan and brother Harp Stockton.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Princeton.
