Police Report: Week of Oct. 10

 The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Police Department between Sept. 30 and Oct. 6. The printed times are when the reports were made and not necessarily when the incidents occurred. Compiled by Jeff Hage.

 

Monday, Sept. 30

10:07 a.m. A scooter was reported stolen from a yard in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue South.

1:56 p.m. A person reported a missing cellphone in the 300 block of Rum River Drive North.

2:02 p.m. An adult female was cited after striking a juvenile female at the high school.

2:35 p.m. A student at the high school reported a vehicle being keyed during the school day.

8:58 p.m. A person outside the VFW on Rum River Drive North reported hearing two gun shots. Complainant also reported a suspicious person in the area. Complaint unfounded.

Tuesday, Oct. 1

2:04 a.m. Officers responded to a 911 hang-up. A 30-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.

12:18 p.m. Complainant reported the theft of a cordless drill from a trailer in the 600 block of Seventh Avenue South.

1:19 p.m. A minor two-vehicle accident was reported in the 500 block of First Street.

1:55 p.m. A resident in the 200 block of Seventh Avenue North reported being locked out of a home with a infant child inside. Officer kicked in a door at the homeowner’s request.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

2:45 p.m. The Mille Lacs Indian Museum in Onamia reported that two juveniles on a field trip stole merchandise from the facility. Information and items were turned over to the Tribal Police Department.

Thursday, Oct. 3 

7:54 p.m. Some property previously reported as stolen was found.

Friday, Oct. 4

11:35 a.m. A woman fell victim to a scam in which she sent $500 via Western Union to a man in Nigeria with a promise that he would send her a check for $50,000 and move to be with her.

2:28 p.m. A student at the high school reported a vehicle being keyed during the school day.

2:52 p.m. A front license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of 11th Avenue North.

Saturday, Oct. 5

9:47 a.m. A 21-speed mountain bike was located in an alley in the 400 block of Sixth Avenue. South. Bike was put in police storage.

1:05 p.m. Assisted Mille Lacs County with a report of a physical domestic assault in progress in Foreston.

9:42 p.m. Theft of essential oils valued at $550 was reported from a location in the 700 block of First Street.

Sunday, Oct. 6

3:13 p.m. Assisted the State Patrol with an accident on Highway 95 at 19th Avenue North.
