Prince Police Report: Week of Oct. 11

The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Department between Oct. 7 and Oct. 13. The printed times are when the reports were made and not necessarily when the incidents occurred. Compiled by Jeff Hage.

 

Monday, Oct. 7

2:47 a.m. An adult was reported missing in the 1400 block of 15th Ave. Person found upon officer’s arrival.

5:01 a.m. Responded to a loading dock alarm in the 1200 block of Seventh Avenue N.

10:05 a.m. A girls Huffy bike was recovered in the 900 block of Third Street S.

8:26 p.m. A gas drive-off in the amount of $59.37 was reported at Circle 9 Marathon.

9:04 p.m. A black cellphone was found in the 700 block of Second Street North.

Tuesday, Oct. 8

4:27 a.m. Investigated a report of a loose horse on the road on 85th Avenue.

7:54 p.m. A motion alarm was reported at People’s Bank. All was secure.

Wednesday, Oct. 9

12:09 a.m. A live cat was reported stuck in the engine compartment of a vehicle parked at Walmart. Officer could not dislodge the animal. Vehicle owner was to drive home and try to remedy the situation.

5:03 p.m. A bike was reported stolen from a bike rack at 605 Rum River Drive.

5:37 p.m. A BMX bike was reported stolen from the 100 block of 18th Avenue North.

Thursday, Oct. 10

7:14 a.m. A burglary was reported in the 1900 block of First Street North at Lakeside Upholstery. Merchandise stolen valued at approximately $5,000.

1:48 p.m. Officer provided traffic control at a grass fire on Aspen Road.

7:07 p.m. A 29-year-old male was cited for theft at Coborns after being observed opening a bottle of soda and taking a drink out of it. Suspect then put the cap back on the bottle and placed it back on the shelf.

Friday, Oct. 11

8:20 a.m. A BMX bike was reported stolen from the 1100 block of Fourth Avenue North.

3:18 p.m. Complainant reported finding a handgun. Officer determined gun was a toy.

7:53 p.m. A 52-year-old male was arrested at the scene of a domestic disturbance.

11:14 p.m. A 21-year-old female was cited for retail theft after leaving Walmart without paying for merchandise.

Saturday, Oct. 12

4:27 p.m. A case of child abuse was reported.

5 p.m. Officer mediated a verbal dispute in the 600 block of Third Street South.

Sunday, Oct. 13

12:08 a.m. Assisted Onamia Police with a felony traffic stop on Highway 169 at 330th Street, Onamia.

12:36 a.m. A gas drive-off was reported at Casey’s North.

12:47 a.m. Investigated a report of a fireworks or shotgun blast on 21st Avenue.

6:40 p.m. Heavy smoke was reported in the 900 block of Third Street North. A homeowner was found to be burning leaves. Officer advised offender of ordinance and ordered to stop burning.
