Donald “Don” Duane Timmer, age 78, passed away and met his Savior at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital on November 21, 2013, after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
Don was born January 23, 1935, to Fred and Jeanette (Vugteveen) Timmer in Pease. Don attended Pease Christian School, graduated from Milaca High School in 1954 and then served in the U.S. Army for four years. Don loved fishing, photography, gardening, adding to his many collections, and spending time with family and friends. He also loved to talk politics with a willing debater. Treasured times were family vacations, attending grand childrens sporting events, and playing cards and dominoes.
