Doris Jopp

Doris “Dodo” Jopp, age 93 of Princeton, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013.
Doris was born Feburary 23, 1920 the daughter of Leo and Mable (Holmberg) Ferrell. She grew up in Cambridge and was a 1941 graduate of Cambridge High School.
She married Victor Jopp on Sept. 28, 1941 and the couple was married for almost 70 years.
Doris liked playing card games and old time dancing. She was a busy lady; always on the “go” and proud of taking care of her home. Taking care of Chuck and Elaine Johnsons children was the best thing that ever happened to her. She never missed an anniversary and felt it was very important to celebrate those happy occasions. She enjoyed going to Oasis and shopping. Doris will be dearly missed.
Doris is survived by her brothers, Warren Ferrell of Rockford, Ill., Lawrence (Ann) Ferrell of Rockford, Ill.; brother-in-law Duane (Luella) Arnold of Chisago City; sister-in-law Mable Whitcomb of Onamia; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, many great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Victor; brother Leroy Ferrell; sister Elenor Marie McMinn; and beloved dog Chipper.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, Nov. 14 at God?s Greater Glory Parish- Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Princeton.
