Kenneth Hansen

Kenneth Lyle Hansen, age 75 of Princeton, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013.
Ken was born on June 23, 1938 in Princeton, the son of Gustav and Helen (Meyer) Hansen.
Ken graduated from Princeton High School. On Oct. 29, 1960, he was united in marriage to Janice Kaufert at Trinity Lutheran Church of Milaca. He first worked for Oliver Corporation in the parts department then at JW Craig and Duininck as a truck driver. Ken then moved on to work for Hard Drives as a truck foreman for 25 years.
Ken was a gifted woodworker. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and traveling to Arizona for the winter season. Ken was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Princeton, as well as The Moose Lodge, Eagles, American Legion and the VFW.
Ken is survived by his wife Janice of Princeton; son Phil (Marie) Hansen of New London; grandchildren Zachary Hansen of Sioux Falls and Kelsey Hansen of New London; siblings Marlene Nelson of Princeton, Russell (Judy) Hansen of Fifty Lakes, and Gayle (Dwight) Barth of Princeton; along with many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gustav and Helen Hansen and his brother Roger Hansen.
A memorial service was held on Friday, Nov. 1 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Princeton with Pastor Marty Hancer officiating. Interment was in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Princeton.
