Lora Matthewman

Lora Louise Matthewman, age 73 of Princeton, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 at the Elim Home in Milaca.
Lora was born March 24, 1940 in Princeton, the daughter of Martin and Lorina (Rolf) Jopp. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Matthewman on Oct. 13, 1956 at Zion Lutheran Church in Princeton.
During her life, Lora cherished many years as a stay at home mom. She was later employed at Crystal Cabinets and Plastics Products and the Princeton Speedway for 25-plus years. She was also a past member of Bethany Lutheran Church. Lora enjoyed picture puzzles, crosswords, bingo, butterflies and Elvis. She especially treasured her time spent watching her grandkids and watching Kenny “Mutt” as he umpired softball games.
Lora is survived by her sons Shawn (Val) Matthewman of Alabama, Eric Matthewman of Princeton; daughters Bianca Matthewman of Princeton and Angela (Joe) Maxwell of Princeton; sister Lila Matthewman of Princeton; brother Lyle Jopp of Princeton; grandchildren Kenneth (Jennifer Rachal), Terry, Jasmin, Holly, Stephanie; four great-grandchildren; along with many loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenny “Mutt” Matthewman (1984); brother-in-law Dick Matthewman; niece Karla; infant nephew Kevin; and other relatives that have greeted her in heaven.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 7 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton. Interment will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Princeton.
