Knights swim past Tigers

Battling a load of illnesses on the team, Princeton took on defending Mississippi 8 champ St. Michael-Albertville Dec. 19 where the Knights prevailed 98-71.

Placing second for the Tigers were Bailey Carlberg in Diving (201.2), and Wyatt Lawrence in both the 200 IM (2:23.1) and 100 Breaststroke (1:13.9).

The Tigers placed third in all three relays. More Tiger highlights were Luke Paplham in the 100 Butterfly (1:05.1); Tommy Milam (59.4), Dustin Moinichen (59.9) and Paplham (57.4) in the 100 Free; and Scott Furman in the 100 Breaststroke (1:19.8).

• On Saturday, the Tigers placed 11th at the St. Cate’s Invite. Posting nice time drops were Nathan Wetrosky in the 200 Free and 100 Butterfly, Zach Gruba in the 200 Free, Parker Carlberg in the 200 IM, Colin Alferness in the 100 Backstroke and Brad Gruba in the 100 Breaststroke.
