Princeton Police Report: Nov. 18-Dec. 1

The Princeton Police Department responded to the following calls:

Monday, Nov. 18

8 a.m. A person was trespassing on school grounds on Fourth Avenue N.

8:59 a.m. A minor vehicle accident was reported in the 1100th block of Seventh Avenue S.

1:41 p.m. Three juveniles ripped down a surveillance camera in the 400 block at 11th Avenue S. Damage estimated at $2,500.

3:21 p.m. A elderly male was reported to be driving in the wrong direction and all over the road on 125th Street. Male stated he was lost. A family member came and picked up the male.

7:54 p.m. A gas drive-off was reported at Circle 9 Marathon. Suspect was identified as someone doing numerous gas drive-offs in Wright County with the same vehicle.

Tuesday, Nov. 19

7:44 p.m. A male was lying on the sidewalk on Highway 95 at Rum River Drive. Suspect stated he was waiting for a ride to pick him up. Person who was providing the ride was playing Bingo at a local bar. Officer gave the suspect a ride to that bar.

7:56 p.m. A juvenile was cited for shoplifting at Walmart.

Wednesday, Nov. 20

7:21 a.m. An alarm was reported to be sounding at Sherburne State Bank.

5:54 p.m. People were reported to be riding dirt bikes in the 15000 block of First Street. Riders were informed of local laws.

6:13 p.m. An alarm was tripped at People’s Bank of Commerce.

Thursday, Nov. 21

4:29 p.m. Property damage was reported in the 1100 block of Seventh Avenue S.

10:22 p.m. Someone attempted to fraudulently cash a check in the amount of $1,991 at Walmart. Employees noticed ID didn’t match suspect’s physical attributes. Suspect left store.

Friday, Nov. 22

10:28 p.m. A gas leak was reported in the 500 block of Fifth Avenue N.

Saturday, Nov. 23

8:02 a.m. An alarm was reported at the VFW. Alarm was tripped by an employee.

1:44 p.m. Counterfeit money was reported by Walmart.

8:21 p.m. A 49-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault. Suspect was held for court.

Sunday, Nov. 24

7:30 p.m. A 16-year-old was cited for theft at Walmart.

Monday, Nov. 25

10:32 a.m. Mille Lacs Historical Society reported that someone backed into the Depot building, damaging the building. Damage first noticed Oct. 14.

10:32 a.m. 2:23 p.m. A person in the 600 block of Eighth Avenue S. reported a missing Nook e-reader.

5:09 p.m. A gas drive-off in the amount of $10 was reported at Casey’s North.

6:37 p.m. A 31-year-old male was arrested following an assault complaint.

Tuesday, Nov. 26

3 p.m. An accident was reported on Rum River dRive at 125th Street NW.

Wednesday, Nov. 27

8:02 a.m. The theft of eight tires was reported in the 100 block of Ninth Avenue Circle.

8:01 p.m. A possible theft was reported in the 1200 block of 14th Avenue N.

7:54 p.m. A disturbance was reported in a front yard of a residence in the 800 block of Oak Circle.

Thursday, Nov. 28

1:37 a.m. Officer observed a fire in a yard jumping outside of a fire pit and starting a lawn on fire. A person was in a garage at the resident. Suspect warned to put fire out if it wasn’t going to be watched.

8:29 p.m. A 36-year-old male was arrested on a Chisago County warrant following a traffic stop of Fifth Street and Rum River Drive.

A gas drive-off of $35.01 was reported at Circle 9 Marathon. License plate of vehicle belonged to a vehicle reported stolen out of Milaca.

Friday, Nov. 29

11:49 a.m. A 23-year-old female was cited for shoplifting at Family Dollar.

4:28 p.m. A resident in the 400 block of Third Avenue S. was burning paper in barrels. Suspect advised of city ordinance and told to put out fires.

Saturday, Nov. 30

10:16 a.m. An accident was reported in the 700 block of Northland Drive.

11:25 a.m. Burglary report in the 900 block of Sixth Avenue N. A Whirlpool refrigerator was reported stolen.

7:47 pm. A storage unit was reported to be broken in to in the 500 block of 19th Avenue.

Sunday, Dec. 1

2:44 pm. A storage unit was reported to be broken in to in the 500 block of 19th Avenue.

6:02 p.m. A car hit and injured a pedestrian in the intersection at Seventh Avenue N. and First Street. Victim transported to hospital by ambulance.
