Tiger girls hockey goes 2-1

Junior Bridget Walter scored the hat trick and finished with three assists for a six-point night when the Princeton girls hockey squad held down host Silver Bay 6-0 Dec. 13.

Also on the northern road trip, Princeton dropped a 4-3 game in overtime to Moose Lake on Saturday when the Rebels scored 3:26 into the extra session. Goals by Alanna Mattson and Maggie Peterson had the Tigers leading 2-0 in the first period.

• On Dec. 17, the Tigers won their second Mississippi 8 game of the season 4-2 at Chisago Lakes. Maggie Peterson, Larkin Walter and Jordan Blomquist netted goals for a 3-0 lead in the first period.
After Princeton hosts Holy Angels Dec. 19 and Pequot Lakes Dec. 21, the team will play in the Dec. 27-28 Windom Holiday Tournament.
