The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Police Department between Jan. 6 and Jan. 14. The times printed are when a complaint was received, not necessarily when it occurred. The report was compiled by Jeff Hage.
Monday, Jan. 6
1:46 p.m. Assisted in recovering an iPhone that a day earlier had reportedly gone missing in Colorado Springs, Colo.
8:47 p.m. A potentially intoxicated person allegedly tried to pick a fight with someone on 21st Avenue.
Tuesday, Jan. 7
2:33 a.m. The theft of tools was reported from an office in the 1600 block of 10th Street S.
11:02 a.m. Damage was reported to a mailbox in the 1400 block of Third Street S. Damage estimated at $40.
1:30 p.m. An accident was reported in the 300 block of 21st Avenue N.
6:39 p.m. A garage in the 600 block of 10th Street N. was reported to be burglarized. Tools with an estimated value of $960 were reportedly stolen.
Wednesday, Jan. 8
10:42 a.m. An accident was reported in the 600 block of Rum River Drive S.
9:31 p.m. Assisted Isanti County in attempting to locate a stolen vehicle. Vehicle was not located.
Thursday, Jan. 9
8:08 a.m. The theft of a stove was reported in the 600 block of Seventh Street N. Stove valued at $500.
10:51 a.m. A fire was reported at Madre Loca Restaurant, 301 21st Avenue N. Fire was not in the restaurant portion of the building.
4:28 p.m. A woman in the 800 block of Seventh Avenue N. reported that a cat was stuck in the wall of the building. Officer gave referral to a business that could help the woman.
6:28 p.m. A wallet was reported lost in the 600 block of Rum River Drive S.
11:29 p.m. A vehicle was stopped on West Branch Street and 10th Avenue N. because a headlight was out. Driver, a 22-year-old male, was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Drug paraphernalia was located in the vehicle.
Friday, Jan. 10
1:20 a.m. Assisted the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office with a report of a sounding alarm on 55th Street.
1:48 a.m. A gas drive-off in the amount of $49.02 was reported at Casey’s North.
2:27 p.m. A gas drive-off in the amount of $40 was reported at the Marathon station.
2:27 p.m. The theft of license plates was reported in the 200 block of Fourth Avenue S.
Saturday, Jan. 11
12:50 a.m. A fire alarm was reported at 1100 Crystal Drive.
3:11 p.m. A 31-year-old female was arrested following a report of an assault.
3:29 p.m. Property damage was reported at McDonald’s. A customer allegedly got involved in an argument with restaurant employees over coupons and smashed the glass on the northeast door. Damage estimated at $400.
3:48 p.m. Responded to a report of a sounding alarm in the 1500 block of 14th Street S.
