Norleen Anderson

Norleen A. (Stay) Anderson, 81, of Blackduck, formerly of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.
She was born on February 9, 1932 to Norman and Valera (Moore) Stay in Sauk Rapids. She attended grade school in Glendorado and high school in Princeton. Norleen worked at the arsenal in New Brighton and later at Federal Cartridge in Anoka, where she retired.
She married Robert Anderson. They lived in Zimmerman and later divorced. Norleen was a very caring person and loved to cook and bake her own bread, even when living alone. She had a lot of health issues in the last four to five years, but when asked she was always fine.
Norleen is survived by her brothers Whalen (Kathryn) Stay of Baudette, and Norris (Diane) Stay of Deer River; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Stay and Linda Esler; aunts and uncles; and two infant daughters.
Norleen was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton.
