Police Report: Week of Jan. 30

The following incidents were reported to the Princeton Police Department Jan. 20-26. The times printed are when a complaint was received, not necessarily when it occurred. The report was compiled by Jeff Hage.

 

Monday, Jan. 20

7:24 p.m. A shoplifting complaint was made at Holiday.

Tuesday, Jan. 21

6:15 p.m. Responded to an alarm at 1504 14th St. S. Alarm was tripped by employees.

6:38 p.m. Investigated a report of an open vehicle in the 500 block of First Street.

7:05 p.m. The theft of microphones was reported at Christ Our Light Catholic Church.

Wednesday, Jan. 22

7:58 a.m. Assisted the State Patrol with a one-vehicle rollover on Highway 169 north of Highway 95.

8:04 a.m. Assisted the State Patrol with a second one-vehicle rollover on Highway 169 north of Highway 95.

10:14 a.m. Assisted Sherburne County and the State Patrol with a one-vehicle rollover on Highway 169 and 313th Avenue in Baldwin Township.

2:57 p.m. Responded to a two-vehicle accident on Sixth Street and Eighth Avenue S.

Friday, Jan. 24

2:50 a.m. Assisted the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office with a drug-related traffic stop on Highway 169 about 2 miles north of Princeton.

8:38 a.m. The State Fire Marshal made a parking complaint at the BP station, 509 19th Avenue N.

8:42 a.m. Princeton Police Office Jason Cederburg and his canine partner Skar conducted a K-9 drug sniff at the Onamia schools.

1:31 p.m. Responded to a two-vehicle crash on First Street at Sixth Avenue.

4 p.m. Responded to a crash on Rum River Drive S. at Highway 169.

Saturday, Jan. 25

12:42 a.m. A 24-year-old male was cited for shoplifting Magic cards at Walmart.

7:11 a.m. Criminal damage was reported to a vehicle in the 400 block of Sixth Avenue S.

10:51 a.m. Responded to a report of smoke at Steven’s Restaurant. Fire department responded to scene.

10:28 p.m. State Patrol requested that officers respond to a report of a possible four-vehicle crash on Highway 169 at 70th Street. Report was unfounded.

Sunday, Jan. 26

12:28 a.m. Officer observed a Domino’s Pizza delivery vehicle in the ditch on Rum River Drive at 128th Street. Driver had a tow truck on the way.

12:31 p.m. Responded to a general fire alarm at Crystal Court Apartments. Fire department arrived on scene and shut off alarm.

2:21 p.m. Responded to a two-vehicle accident on First Street and Rum River Drive N.

7:46 p.m. Responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident with property damage in the 300 block of 21st Avenue.
