Esther Kjormoe

Esther Bertha Louisa Kjormoe, age 94, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 at the Elim Home in Princeton.
Esther was born in Princeton Township to Herman “Bill” and Emma (Schlesner) Mueller on Sept. 24, 1919. She was united in marriage on June 18, 1941 to Lloyd Dixon at Princeton United Methodist Church. In 1956, Lloyd passed away in a truck accident. Esther was later united in marriage to Arthur Kjormoe on Aug. 22, 1964 at Bethany Evangelical Free Church in Big Lake. After school, she nannied for families and worked in the kitchen at the Elim Home and for over 20 years at Princeton Public School. She was also a waitress at the Princeton Livestock Market.
Esther took delight in cooking and baking. She was often entertaining family and friends and was known for always having coffee on. Esther loved to visit Mission Lake and Lake Superior. She also liked to crochet; especially loved the holidays and spending time with her family.
Esther is survived by her daughter Audrey (Quentin) Hendricks of Princeton; grandchildren Tammy (John) Creasy of Princeton, Wendy Hendricks of Sartell and Ron Hendricks of Princeton; great-grandchildren Matt and Jeremy Creasy of St. Cloud; three nieces and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; and sisters, Vivian Rice and Evelyn Fiebing.
Funeral Services were held at Princeton Evangelical Free Church on Wednesday, Feb. 5. Burial was at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Princeton.
