Holm wins Baldwin election

There will be a new township supervisor in Baldwin Township come April.

Jeff Holm will be returning to the township board after receiving 48 percent of the vote. He served as Baldwin Township supervisor from 2008 to 2011.

He received 107 of the 221 votes cast in the township election.

Results were announced towards the end of the annual meeting Tuesday night, March 11, 2014, at the maintenance shop at the Baldwin Town Hall.

Total number of votes: 221
Holm will be sworn into office on March 27. He will take the oath of office and then the board will host its annual reorganization meeting. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Holm’s first meeting as a board member will be April 7.
Good’s last regular township board meeting will be Tuesday, March 18. There are a number of other meetings (like committees and commissions)  on the township schedule prior to her time in office expiring at 6:59 p.m. on March 27.
