Princeton track & field had 11 boys and 25 girls participate in the Grade Level Select Indoor meet at St. Thomas University on March 26. The Tigers held their own against good metro squads with many placings won against athletes in the same grade.
“It was a great experience for everyone, and the Select Meet offered excellent competition for all our athletes,” noted Tiger Coach Tom Ostroot.
Anna Oakes placed 1st in the JR 400 dash at 1:02.4. Katie Bialka was 2nd for the Tiger girls in the SR 55 dash (7.80) and in the 55 hurdles (9.33). Taylor Laabs placed in three events for PHS: 2nd in the SO triple jump (33-08), 3rd in the long jump (14-08) and teaming with Lydia Arens, Madi Jung and Samantha Swedzinski in the 5th-place distance medley (14:32).

• The Tiger boys saw Cole Warren win the SR long jump by clearing 19-06 at St. Thomas. Tanner Palmborg sprinted well at the meet, placing 4th in the JR 55 dash (6.90) and 4th in the JR 200 (24.55). Luke Warren added a 2nd in the SO 200 (24.92) and was 3rd in the SO high jump (5-02).
