Coral Crosby

Coral Lee Crosby, age 57, of Princeton, passed away on June 15, 2014 after a courageous battle against cancer. Coral was born in Minneapolis on January 19, 1957. she graduated from Princeton High School in 1976 and married her high school love, Tim, on June 26th, 1976. She was a home daycare provider for many years and loved all her daycare children. It was not uncommon for her daycare kids to stop by and visit years later or for them to call her Auntie. Coral is known for her love of crafts, camping, her great smile and sense of humor. She made many canoe trips to the Boundary Waters and camping trips to State Parks with her family. Coral smiled through every obstacle life had given her, never complaining, and always finding a way to laugh at any situation. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her and made a difference in many peoples lives. Coral was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Nothing was more important to Coral than her family. Coral is survived by her parents, Sandra and Wayne Maki, husband Tim, children Jason (Ann) Crosby, Cheryl (Brett) Messerschmidt, Cassandra (Aaron Brust) Crosby, and granddaughters Sophia Crosby and Evelina Messerschmidt. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Donald and Myrtle Peterson.
A funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Princeton on Thursday, June 19th. Visitation at 10:30, service at 11:30. A celebration of life will be held at Neighbors on the Rum Eatery from 4-7pm.
