Guy Munsch

Guy Bernard Munsch, age 63, of St. Cloud, formerly of Pease, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the St. Cloud Hospital. He was born on September 27, 1950 the son of Bernard and Phyllis (Bruno) Munsch.
Guy grew up in the Saint Francis area and attended the Saint Francis schools. On September 29, 1967 he joined the United States Marines and proudly served in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on July 24, 1970. After being in the Marines for 3 years he became employed at General Dynamics where he worked as a laborer for 10 years. On December 19, 1982 he was united in marriage to Kathleen Smith at the American Legion in Hackensack, MN. Later, he took on new work adventures that included owning multiple bars in Texas and Minnesota; as well as working in construction as a truck driver and at Woman Lake Inn in Hackensack as a cook. Guy enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting baseball cards and antique cars, playing video games and cooking. He will be dearly missed.
Guy is survived by his former wife of 32 years, Kathy Youngberg; children, Marie Munsch, Guy Munsch II, Nathan Campbell, Joe Munsch, Missy Munsch-Perry; mother, Phyllis Munsch; sisters, Debbie Johnson, Heidi Munsch, Dijon Munsch-Wilcox; brothers, Gary Munsch, Steve Munsch, Kent Munsch; nine grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard and his grandparents.
A Graveside Service was held at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery (Camp Ripley) in Little Falls.
Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton.
