Letter: Respect private property

Over the weekend, someone on a large four-wheeler with a wide stance (50 inches) decided to trespass on my land off County Road 38 near 100th Street in Baldwin Township.
The individual drove around my gate and past the “No Trespassing” sign posted there to enter my property. While traveling across my field, the trespasser managed to run over three Norway pine trees that I planted this spring.
There are a lot of residents that enjoy leisure rides on their ATVs in the neighborhood. Actions like those of the individual who ran over my trees will lead to a crackdown on four-wheeling around in the neighborhood.
Please respect private property, no trespassing signs, gates, crops, wetlands and tree plantations.
