Lloyd Craig

Lloyd Clark Craig died at the age of 77, at the Princeton Elim Home.
Lloyd was born in McVille, N.D. on April 24, 1937 to William Craig and Reith Purmot. Lloyd grew up in the Anoka area on some land that Lloyds step-father farmed. He spent a lot of time breaking horses, he especially enjoyed trail riding. Lloyd served in the navy from 1955 to 1958. He was stationed on the U.S. Midway.
Lloyd met Patti Tanner and they were married on May 18, 1959. They lived in St. Francis for a few years, then in 1966 moved to Zimmerman. Lloyd and Patti have two children, Jeff and Norma.
Lloyd was employed at Hoffman Engineering in Anoka for 38 years. He had many part-time jobs after that to keep himself busy. Traveling to different horse events was a big part of their lives. Lloyds family and his many friends were very important to him.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; step-father; brothers, Robert, Johny, Kieth and Bill; sister Una.
He is survived by his wife Patti; son Jeff (Sue) Craig; daughter Norma Craig; grandchildren, Joey and Jackie Craig; sister Gladys; and many neices and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at the Craig farm, 14505 289th Ave., Zimmerman, on Sunday, June 29, at 1 p.m.
