Betty Lou Moos

Betty Lou Moos, age 79, of Princeton, MN, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Fairview Northland Hospital in Princeton.
She was born on October 17, 1934 to Calvin and Mary (Hart) Ames in Ball Club, MN.
She grew up in Nary, MN. She attended Nary School through the 8th grade and then graduated from Bemidji High School. On November 8, 1958 she married Kenneth Moos. They made Anoka their home from 1962-1972; in 1972 they moved to Nowthen. In 2009, Betty moved to the Crystal Courts in Princeton and has lived there since.
Some of her favorite activities included watching the MN Twins play ball, cooking, making lefsa and Christmas cookies with her family, crocheting and embroidering, playing Words With Friends and being the Scrabble queen. She enjoyed watching high school basketball tournaments, and especially going to her grandkids events at school. Family meant everything to her and their hearts are filled with lots of love and memories. She will be dearly missed and her generosity will always be remembered.
Betty is survived by her children, Lindy (Mike) Obremski, Debbie (Dan) Moos, Keith (Wanda) Moos, Doug (Deb) Moos, Pam (Don) Lorge and Jeff (Kris) Moos; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren with three more on the way; brother, Dale (Roseanne) Ames; and sister, Clarice (Jacob) Boomgaarden.
She was preceded in death by husbands, David Omit and Kenneth Moos; parents and brother, Gale Ames.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. at New Life Church in Princeton. Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids. Arrangements entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton, MN.
