David L. Sproessig

David LeRoy Sproessig, age 69, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Fairview Northland Hospital, Princeton.
David was born on April 20, 1945 in Elk River, MN the son of Oscar and Genevive (Nunn) Sproessig. He grew up in Sherburne County and attended Princeton schools. On November 21, 1964 he was united in marriage to Mildred Wolfer. David and Mildred spent almost 50 years together before Mildred passed away April 8, 2014. David was a very hard worker; he owned his own business, Daves Monorail, out of Princeton. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He always put everyone elses needs before his own and especially loved his grandchildren. He will be missed dearly.
David is survived by his children, Wanda (Bubba) Lee of Williston, N.D., David Sproessig Jr. of Princeton, Sandy (Tod) Nieken of Hillman and Roxie (Paul) Petitt of Princeton; siblings, Larry (Carol) Sproessig of Otsego, Allan Sproessig of Texas, Jim Sproessig of Zimmerman and Kenny (May) Sproessig of Braham; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife Mildred.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home.
