ABRA Auto Body & Glass began auto repair in its new facility in Princeton June 16, where Jim’s Auto Repair had been at 32018 125th St.

ABRA first came to Princeton in 2004 and was doing only auto glass work and estimates here until its recent relocation.

ABRA Auto Body & Glass is the third ABRA franchise owned by Kedrick Johnson and family, which purchased the building it is in now last November and had it remodeled inside and out. The new facility handles all auto body needs, as well as auto glass. Danyell Wendland is the general manager of the Princeton facility.

“We are delighted the market (for auto repair) is thriving and look forward  to offering top quality collision repair services to the Princeton area for years to come,” Johnson said.

The grand opening of the new facility will be from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20.

Wendland said the grand opening will also be a community-safety event in which various emergency services agencies and the Mothers Against Drunk Driving organization will participate. Area firefighters will demonstrate the extrication of persons from a smashed vehicle, Wendland said.
