Dennis Blackbird

Dennis Ray Blackbird, 59, died Nov. 13, 2007, at Fairview Northland Medical Center, Princeton. He was born Aug. 18, 1948, in Milaca. He was very active with the Milaca and Princeton DAC and participated in the Special Olympics. Survivors include his mother Blanche Bruggeman, Milaca; sisters Phyllis Franke, Foreston, and Beverly Carroll, Bloomington; and brother Earl Letourneau, White Bear Lake. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Blackbird; and brother Darrell Partridge. The funeral was Nov. 16, at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home, Milaca. Casketbearers were Chris Carroll, Willie Franke, Mark Duren, Rob Wagner, Jeff Clarence, and Chad Keen. Burial was at Karmel Covenant Cemetery.
